Now what do I do?

Lets meet and get to know each other so you can decide if my style and services are what you want and need. Your ceremony should be made as personal as possible, so it is important that you feel comfortable with me.

Our first meeting

If you decide to book Eleesa, she will walk you through the legal process at the first meeting. We will also complete the Notice of Intended marriage form.  Eleesa can provide these forms, or you can download it here (65kb ).

Developing a ceremony

What style of wedding are you hoping for? Modern, non-traditional, informal, casual, formal, or surprise wedding to name a few – the choice is yours!

Eleesa will work with you to create your ceremony. In our initial meeting we can chat about you thoughts and feelings regarding your ceremony. Eleesa will let you know what must be involved in the ceremony to meet legal requirements as well as provide you with a range of ideas, resources and information to help plan the logistics of your ceremony.

Eleesa will write the first draft of your ceremony and e-mail it to you. You can make as many change’s, additions, deletions as you like. If you would prefer you could write your own vows, Eleesa can offer lots of ideas that you might like to use.  You can include other people in the ceremony, in terms of readings, singing, or participating in other aspects of your ceremony etc. If there are children from your current or previous relationship it would be great to have them be involved as well.

Special touches

Eleesa has a whole range of ideas to ensure your wedding is unique.  You may have heard of some of these – candle rituals, flower rituals, ring warming, sand ceremony, hand fasting or casting of the stones to name a few.

 I can also offer loads of suggestions in relation to contemporary music, readings and poems etc as well as where to source things for your ceremony such as candles.
